>>52475362Not them, but False Swipe Gaming unironically made a video called Top Five Charizards (honestly sounds like the type of thing CHARIZARD-poster would make as a parody but it was completely serious), essentially going over how consistently overpowered Charizard has been due to all the weird privilege's its gets. The only time when Charizard was ever "shit" was Gen 4-5 and even then it was the still the best Pokemon in NU due to its insane versatility and Solar Power being broken.
As since the subject of "kneecapped" Pokemon is here, reminder that Typhlosion is literally flightless Charizard but denied everything that makes Charizard so good. It's a Flygon-Garchomp situation if: Flygon was released after Garchomp and never even had a single generation be good, had a shit movepool and one less STAB than Garchomp, Garchomp was given two megas instead of one along with a Gigantamax, and Flygon was given no buffs after Gen4.
