Lance isn’t a main character and Iris is. If this thread is about post Champion Iris then the two people she’s lost again (one of which defeated four other Champions) and Cynthia who they weren’t going to allow to lose in the first round since it’s bad messaging for the Sinnoh games has no shame. Lance who objectively had no reason to lose, losing against Diantha is worst and she got destroyed the next round.
