Constantly one-shotting every pokemon on Hopp's and Hau's team and having the dialogue after every battle be "Oh man that was sooooo close! I'll get you next time!" is gratting because it just makes them come across as delusional retards. Nemona has already become champion and is handicapping herself against you so even if you absolutely demolish her, the upbeat dialogue at the end of the match isn't annoying because you both know it wasn't a "real" fight.
