For what? They're both shit games that prove Pokémon is useless with an open world format unless they change up the gameplay because turn based battles are too hard to balance around the idea that players may be getting very little, or massive amounts of exp between story events.

Man shut the fuck up, if any game was made for "open world" it's Pokemon, they just need to actually spend some of their billions putting more effort into them. Releasing another dogshit hallway sim with pixel art and random encounters would be even more low effort and dogshit than the most unfinished open world game however.

PLA
SV never fixed things like flickering lights in battle.
PLA is polished enough and the designers actually thought of user comfort instead of you know telling you to destroy your console by pressing down the joystick to rush.

Easily the best since BW2, this game while not perfect should be the next standard in terms of gameplay and mechanics.
It's fun to play, runs mostly fine and most importantly has an amazing art direction.
