>>52484814To make things clear, I stole Iron Valiant, Grimmsnarl, and Dragonite from an anon in these threads a while back. I think this team originally had Clodsire, Flutter, and Palafin. I I had to replace the latter two, and then I felt I needed to replace two again to cover my main issues, which had been Ground and Hazards.
I like Treads because he kind of counters common leads like Glimmora, and does enough damage to deny a Cyclizar lead Shed Tail. Hazards and the ability to switch into Tspikes and get rid of them is something I find valuable. Chien Pao I'm less attached to, but I also feel like he's probably not the problem. He has the speed and power that my team had lad lacked after its first revision.
And of course, you know why Skeledirge is good, he effectively shuts down a lot of setup sweepers, and can end up sweeping himself, if things are in a good position. If not with his original type, then with Fairy. Steel types wouldn't want to switch into him, so the main weakness to worry about is Poison. Clodsire can be tough, but he's not nearly as bad with the team comp as it stands.
The rest have effective coverage, and with Screens + Multiscale, I feel like having a stronger Electric + STAB tends to be more useful, but this could be selection bias. I did notice that Taunt would probably be more useful than Parting Shot on Grimm. TWave feels valuable in shutting down some annoying Pokemon, or giving a chance to get an extra hit in.
