The role of Pokemon Professor here is weirdly split into three: Clavell, Jacq, and Sada/Turo.
Clavell is the one who provides you with a starter, takes the remaining starter and raises it himself, and is highly tied to the plot. Also, when you try to use an item improperly it's Clavell's voice your character envisions saying not to do that.
Jacq is the one who provided you with the Pokedex (he developed the app and through your rival gave it to you), is your homeroom teacher, and gives you stretch goals for dex completion.
Sada/Turo is the typical advertised Pokemon Professor, also highly tied to the plot, and gives you regular updates and advice.
