visually appealing animal mons like gogoat, heliolisk, ariados, noctowl, klawf etc have like 0 fans. meanwhile everyone's creaming themselves over ceruledge, tinkaton, iron valiant, meowscarada, and the ol waifubait/furbait classics like gardevoir, lucario, mewtwo, tsareena, etc

It's good on the player's team but not on NPCs.
Pageeta should have something else like a Palafin.

Used it in XY and it was great in-game. Bulky, great recovery options in milk drink / horn leech, and unexpectedly a decent mixed attacker (it gets Surf for some reason). I once made a meme set for multi-battles with Grass Pelt and Assault Vest and it was tanky af when terrain is up.
If they ever expand the option of rideable mons in the future Gogoat better be one of them.

I had one in my team in gen6. I loved it's aesthetic but:

Gogoat has always been a reliable pokemon in my playthroughs. Sap Sipper into Aerial Ace makes this grass pokemon surprisingly anti-grass

if you want to see what fags, furries and degenerates are into, look at reddit/twitter/4chan
if you want to see what normies are into, look at the 'surprising' turnout for pokémon go's release
