Demiurge is the "time machine". It feeds off of Sada/Turo's obsession for the past/future, and makes it real. Only, it bases it off their memories of the present, causing it to turn the likes of Jigglypuff or Volcarona to turn primal/futuristic. That's why they don't evolve.

They have no genders and can't breed for one of two reasons: First, as wishes incarnate, they aren't real Pokemon and therefore aren't genetically compatible with anything because they HAVE no genes, and second: Game mechanics. GameFreak doesn't want you breeding your Iron Valiants or Slither Wings. Gotta get them the ol' fashioned way.

Well if they're from the past how do they multiply without genders and the ability to make eggs? Other Pokemon transferred through time can breed, gen 2 literally has a time machine to get your gen 1 bros on.

I have a better question: if the "Past" Paradox Pokemon really are from a different point in time, why do their Pokedex entries repeatedly state that there's no fossil evidence for them? Why are we asking about why they don't have genders and can't breed when the game explicitly states there's no evidence to suggest they were ever real before emerging from the 'Time Machine' to begin with?

Answer: the "time machine" doesn't work under linear time; it pulls from the closest equivalent timeline that could theoretically match up with the present era. Sada/Turo just can't process that these Pokémon aren't from their own timeline.

Where's the physical evidence for Roaring Moon, Brute Bonnet, Great Tusk, Scream Tail, Flutter Mane, Sandy Shocks, and even Koraidon, then? The Pokedex says that the only evidence for their existence is in the Scarlet Book, which was a fake.

Lie better. The dex only said it's like creature described in SV book or from tabloid that if you looked the magazine in game also mentioned about SV book. They don't even say fossil and what not because it's an entirely new finding. They also didn't label them future or past because only prof did and they died, while the 4 little faggots opinions in game didn't matter.

The game gave a plausible excuse. The AI said the paradox mons are not compatible with present energy and it's why they become destructive. Other is not like this yes, but they also do not have tera energy. It's probably unlikely, but GF did leave a ground for argument.

I fully believe ancient mons could have, but because of the future mons, they weren't allowed to.
But also it could be that under specific conditions ancient mons breed, which are impossible to replicate in the present time.

Um askchusally in Pokemon: the proper terminologies are Gender Unknown and Eggs Undiscovered.
These Pokemon's genders are undetermined by currrent in-universe Pokemon research, and their eggs are undiscovered because the proper methods of breeding these Pokemon in captivity have not been discovered either.

For the most part, genderless Pokémon doesn't actually mean it doesn't have a gender, it's just an in-game thing to prevent breeding, and give it immunity from gender-based attacks.
