I know a lot of people criticise Unova for the constant handholding, 40 roadblocks, gift Pokemon with type advantage over Gyms, poor Pokemon distribution, poor level curve etc.
But to me this is the real problem. Why do the best Pokemon in the game evolve so late? Literally what were they thinking with this shit. Honestly this is worse than Larvitar and Houndour in GSC - at least those games have a second region that you can use those mons in. BW and BW2 are basically over and done with after the E4, meaning there is no point at all in grinding Larvesta and Zweilous up to the final evo.
And it's not just them either - Bisharp, Braviary, Mandibuzz, Klinklang, Vanilluxe etc. It's beyond retarded.
