I've found that for the first time in a Pokemon game, this game has a fun and pretty balanced post-game reward system loop and yes Raids are a part of that. If you like to shiny hunt and you want to play ladder with your own team, you gotta play the game.

Join the raid thread bro, we have a good time.
Otherwise, hunt shinies, hunt rare variants (House of 3 Maushold and Dundunsparce), hunt sizes, and hunt marks. Hunt for Apriballs and go full balltism. Grind the Ace Academy Tournament and just have a good time.
Try out ranked ladder especially doubles. Better than Smogon shit, more fun than showdown.
