SV's gym leaders' theme is my second favorite from all games, top 10 music from Pokemon.
It's just a good rpg battle theme, I love it !

No, not at all. I'd definately hear this against less threatening bosses in games like FFX-2 (against Leblanc), Xenogears (The elements) or in Ace Attorney as a Cornered theme. I genuinely love it !

I like these too, but the jazzy sound of it is just so good to me.
Southern is not my favorite battle theme though, East takes the crown.

I love the fact they brought back the dynamic music from BW and SWSH, the ace theme feels properly heroic and swells into the victory theme perfectly.

You mean "victory lies before you"? Personally, I hate it. The chanting just feels like they wanted to recapture what SWSH succeeded at. The cheering in SWSH felt organic because you're in a stadium and it's just people cheering to a short rhythm split apart by regular cheers and a bumping soundtrack.

SV isn't chanting, it's just a fucking choir that repeats the same fucking 12-second verse with every third changed up.

BW was a huge nostalgia boner, it can never be topped. The only thing that gets me going more is when "proof of a hero" hits just right. SWSH was a boring game I never finished while scarlet is a buggy game I'm having a blast playing but aside from a few tracks, SV music is a huge letdown compared to SWSH and most other pokemon games.
