If you read all the journal entries in area 0 it says Turo/Sada was trying to make a paradise for their family. Honestly the story makes more sense in Violet because I can see future tech being useful in improving society. They sound like they were a good parent until they left for Area 0 one day and died. The other parent left early when they saw the project was bad. Mabostiff got injured in Area 0 when Arven went to go look for them.

The AI couldnt understand human emotions so it couldnt explain the time machine was stacked with security on top of security because the parent truly believed the time machine was how to improve the world.

Will they add a third version or a big plot DLC? The journal mentions they built the time machine using the scales of a pokemon from outside of their time. It's not Miraidon/Koraidon because that was the result of their time machine.

There is no reason to do third versions at this stage.
I get that people unironically believe the "gamefreak wants to be unpredictable" shit; but thats an excuse on their end.(no XZ and YZ or whatever was literally just a fuckup)
They tried the sequel stuff to sell more third versions, it vaguely worked but had pretty middling returns still.

The DLC did not suffer from this, additionally the DLC had a whole lot less cost involved.

Plot DLC since we never find out what the Pokemon at the bottom of Area Zero is. Probably more to do with the Ruinous Quartet too, but whatever it is, I hope we get more Arven.

Now consider that it's been already this long since he has ANY contact with his parent. He's been neglected for over 10 years easily since this is when Tera Orbs became available to the public, so the Professor must've already been incredibly busy with their job at the time. 10 fucking years. How old do you think Arven is? 16? 18 maybe? He basically took care of himself ever since he was around 7. He even said he doesn't have a single memory of him playing with his parent. It's absolutely fucked.
The fact that he simply keeps going and takes things in his own hands constantly means that he has fucking nerves of steel. What a fucking chad.

No, it was contained in Area Zero. It escaped from there at the beginning of the game because the second Raidon, the one that killed the professor, is aggressive and had a territorial struggle with our Raidon.
