While it's still not the best it could be, SV's overworld mon behaviors are leaps and bounds better than PLA's because the mons actually interact with things in the environment. Details like mons clinging onto trees (some of which try to ambush you like Spidops), running up into trees after eating berries at the base, sleeping in shade, reacting to harsh weather (Sudowoodo freaks out in rain and light mons like Hoppip, Igglybuff, and Bramblin get blown away in storms), etc. The one thing PLA had in that regard is that Pokemon of the same species had slightly different behaviors that also pertained to their natures when caught, which seems to be gone in SV
