>>52509645I know shit about music, but i think Variation while remaining consistent, especially with embracing having more then one normal wild battle theme which make you not feel it becomes stale, another factor is that the only BT that gets WOOOOOOO~oooo~ is the Gym theme even though they kept the "dynamic progression" that made most, if not all battle themes change depending on how far into the battle you are.
I think the team Star set of BTs in particular is a nice set since the Leader one leans heavy into "Rock-iness" and the Penny one is more "Twinky" while the Grunt one is a bit between, this contrasts nicely to the Gym battle theme being rather goofy and the E4 theme being more serious, and Nemonas normal theme feelng like it is goofing around (because she isn't giving her all) It is a good fit for the different moods.
