>>52515397He does, even adds boo for the ghost plate forshadowing, that and he's suspicious the entire way, only moment I felt I was too harsh for distrusting him was him helping us out when we got banned and that for the main first plot he actually didn't do anything which had me question the fanfictions actually just falling for a cute blond guy with funny manners, but even then I felt It was him trying to get us to work for him more than us being helped.
Seeing him finally go schizo on us felt liberating on that front, seeing his face stop being fakely friendly and just be an angered crazed joy was cathartic and offputting too, the moment he showed neutrality I knew we were in for the fun stuff, they did him right, joyfully hatable (or an unstable anime husbando if you ask some), a good villain, and most importantly, the piano leitmotif... A good fight too ! Even better!
Some other twist I didn't see coming at all though, not volo but other ones.
