I honestly don't know how it'd work in SV
In PLA it still works because you're limited to 1 area but SV?
You basically have 95% of the overworld available the moment you get Koraidon/Miraidon

He made a softlock video, claiming it was impossible to escape. I made a video addressed to him showing him a way to escape. He responded to my video not really giving a fuck. He never made a follow up video saying his "softlock" scenario was pickable, and his video is still up claiming its impossible to escape.

He also does not take suggestions. I gave him a suggestion of a scenario I believe to be a softlock. Never asked for credit just wanted to see him attempt it and find a possible way out. I just got ignored.

I remember the drama with Pokemon Coral, where he sent his fan base to attack the author. He was given a suggestion and felt attacked because Coral wishes he didn't use walk through walls cheats to incomplete areas.

I'm assuming that you go through the game trying to capture each route's Pokemon in full before continuing on. Basically, you look at the places you go, what is available to you and just make it a mission to get and evolve them all.

I'd assume no considering he hasnt made a real softlock video in several years. All his recent ones just set up a tedious but escapable situation that doesn't really take much thought to figure out. Like his recent Mewtwo one was just "oh you gotta get Mewtwo to struggle itself" and solved. Its just a matter if you are autistic enough to spend several hours making him do it.

He made a video claiming it was impossible to escape Cinnibar island with just a level 5 Magikarp. He claimed that Magikarp couldn't gain xp to evolve into a Gyarados and learn surf to get out. He missed that in one of the basement rooms of the mansion you can encounter a lower level ditto that a level 5 Magikarp can actually beat. Therefore Magikarp can grind the Dittos to level up and escape.

If he did it on version 1.0 it wouldn't be too bad once he unlocks outbreaks. The first area would suck but at least the majority of the dex is fairly fullproof to shiny hunt in a short amount of time. The rift exclusive Pokemon would be terrible though.
