>>52520443I think it is because they noticed people REALLY liked Beast Balls in SMUSUM (Especially since they fit the cover legends, even though they don't get the catch bonus), STory wise it is probably a similar story as with Kurt having his balls be expensive (Custom made from a distant land, pretty much a extreme luxury-ware outside Johto), while "common" in their orginating game they really only had one output and wer custom made for one particular purpose (Deal with UBs) that since been resolved (thanks to (you)) so good luck getting one without a Aether insider to hook you up.
