No, I could never stomach DPPt, yes, Platinum too. I always found them to be very boring and simply not engaging.

Absolutely, I loved the music and atmosphere. The lore was pretty good for a pokemon game too.

Yeah I like. I acknowledge Sinnoh is far from perfect (honestly I've seen every region have some problem said about it), but Sinnoh holds a special place in my heart since I grew up with it.

Liked em as a kid but touching them again last fall to compare to BDSP really made me take a step back from how fondly I remembered it
The battle backgrounds are bizarre, sprite work just seems off for some like Suicune
I can appreciate the beginning of a 3D world but everything I enjoyed about that I can enjoy in a more spectacular fashion in Unova. Only Spear Pillar and the Pokemon League take advantage of the depth of field you can create with a 3D world.
Speed haha it's slow but seriously it's excruciatingly slow in DP
I just don't really feel any reason to come back to them again and would rather them be a cherished childhood memory with all its nostalgia

I enjoyed Legends, the others not so much. I've played both Plat and BDSP, but have never been able to really get into them in the same way as other games. Not sure why when others have the same flaws, something about Sinnoh itself I guess.

Yes. They have a lot of flaws but they brought the most changes that kept pokemon going for another 18 years now. They made me still want to play pokemon when I was 15 years old and hadn't played for a few years already.
Region and atmosphere wise they're definitely my favorite games. Sinnoh is home.
