>>52521771Yeah I agree this game was really good it’s probably the best Pokémon game.
kino moments towards the end and the open world format fits Pokémon like a glove, it didn’t feel like a chore to play like a lot other Pokémon games, where I’m mashing A through endless text boxes. I was expecting it to be like “baby’s first open world” where we are given some freedom, but no, the is a fully open world game. It’s one of the only Pokémon games where I really want to replay it already, and try different things.
Obviously the performance is an issue but it’s not that big of issue, it’s not like it’s a game that requires fast reaction times. My biggest complaints are probably the environment graphics, because the Pokémon and character models look insanely high quality, so it’s weird to have them in these low resolution environments. And the lack of PLA catching mechanics and Pokémon don’t run up to their opponent to attack them for physical moves. Because battles have never looked better than in that game.
