Reminder Gen 8 was honestly fine unless you're a graphicsnigger or a general autist. And unlike Gen 9 it actually works properly.

Gen 8 is going to go down in history as the worst generation because everything it does "well" is done better by SV, and it also has dogshit like Lego Piss and BDSP, the wort game in the entire series.

Starting from the 6th gym I was hoping the game would end asap. The chairman and her assistant had me verbally abusing myself for even having considered buying the game. Zacian quest is where I said "fuck this piece of garbage" and sold it for 50.

LGPE was Gen 7 technically, right? or did that get debunked. I heard there was a weird TPC image where they counted PLA as Gen 9, in which case Gen 8 would officially be the worst in history, by a mile.

Yes it does. Technical functionality is the most important part of a game. If your game is a glitchy buggy mess then it's shit regardless of what else it does "well". And that's to say nothing of Gen 9's fucking horrible artstyle complete with Movieblob as an NPC. Literally the only thing Gen 9 has going for it is the starters.
