I disagree with Brock. Brock has a pretty good character development during the course of his journey with Ash and he served as the fatherly figure in the OG trio. Misty is just your typical girl.

Brock didn’t know what he wanted to do until the end of DP as a doctor and a breeder in AG. Misty didn’t become a Gym Leader until she was forced into one and both had a numerous amount of episodes
