A huge improvement from r/b, but still not the best. It didn't encapsulate the adventure.
Both manga encapsulated an interesting adventure, there was no need for headcannon rumors,etc. It was all there plain and simple. Instead of being disappointed by the games over and over again I turned to other Jrpgs with stories and gameplay more similar to the manga such as Legend of Mana, Arc the Lad and BOF.
