Call me a zoomer all you want but they all don’t compare to RBY Bruno. We all know how atrocious fighting type were in gen 1. I get that gen 1 had way lower power level than SV, but even by gen 1 standards, this is bad. Onix is worthless and having two is bad when primape and Poliwrath existed. The hitmons were some of the worst fully evolved Pokémon in RBY. Machamp was also bad in gen 1, not having any good stab and a very low special stat. Before I get 1000 comments, elemental punches were special, counter only worked on normal and fighting moves, fissure only works if you are faster, and high jump kick was 85 BP. Even in future games, Bruno was always the laughing stock of the elite four, except maybe stadium 2 and HGSS rematch.
