Everything about this generation is boring and unappealing. Pokémon designs, character designs, setting, music, new mechanics, not a single thing looks good.
Pokémon has finally done it, I can't name a single good thing about this gen. It's just shit. I didn't buy Gen 7 or 8 anyway, but at least I could go "oh well this one trainer class in Swoosh looks cool I guess", Gen 9 lacks even minor things like that.
