you get a mix of 2 and 3 in Masters. she doesn't really throw a tantrum when she loses to you and is just in denial for a moment. then she forces herself onto your team. she's friendly from that point forward. her sync story reads like the beginning of a route in a dating sim. and in her Pokecenter dialogue she offers to "personally train" and make you her apprentice
I wish they'd pick up the pace with the Lodge additions so they can get to Clair faster, or at all. her sync story is already on the level as most Lodge stories in terms of waifubaiting. Elesa beats her now. She all but confesses while Clair doesn't know why she feels at ease around you
