I said this in the other thread, but let's consider this from a more natural setting.
You're a wild Corviknight. You don't know about EV, IV, Natures, and other such things. You can't know Bulk Up or Roost, because those are TM moves. You have a 50% chance of having Pressure. You don't care about "metas" or "stats"; You're out looking for berries. You're gliding along, when [THWACK]! A rock flies out and thumps you on the head! A Tinkaton has just engaged in battle with you! What will you do?
For the vast majority of animals who get attacked, you try to book it out of there. However, Tinkaton is 94 Speed vs your 67, so likely you will fail to run. And for your failure, you will get a hammer to the face. Even if you had an advantage, it is either gone, or turned to disadvantage.
But let's say you win anyways. You make the pink monster retreat, or manage to get away safely, at the cost of your health and power points.
Statistically, there's another dozen Tinkas between you and your nest.
This is why Corviknights are no longer used for taxi services.
