NOTHING beats the depth and breadth of strategy and challenge that Emerald Exceeded can offer. Not even competitive, which has been poisoned by power creep and dexcuts

The difficulty options are super customizable including giving enemies 255 EVs in all stats and/or advanced AI. And the balancing is much better than normal, mons can have weaker innate abilities stacked with their normal ability, like Levitate or Own Tempo, which enables more even power levels and role compression, this and all the new or buffed moves and abilities are used to give shitmons new, creative niches that are completely unique to this game. There's SOOOO many viable team archetypes it's crazy

I just wish there was a Showdown server for this
