Not to mention the gym fights are basic as fuck and they missed the opportunity surprising players through terra making it all sweepable with one pokemon.
Then the boss fights are a high step down from token battles because its no longer 2v1 in their favor but in yours.
Then starfall was the only thing "challenging" but the raids were always just the same repetitive nonsense. At least the maps in Legend feel much more fun and diverse to traverse through while the story is much more engaging and better. Catching Pokemon in this game is actually fun through all the sidequests.
