God, what a game. I like SV but it pales in comparison to PLA. I hope this level of quality isn't just a one time thing. I hope Unova has an equally great or even better Legends title.

I love Arceus. I might love SV more, but I still Arceus.
But I wouldn't be too worried if I were you. "Arceus" is but a sub title, and the game sold well.

I'd be shocked if we never got Pokemon Legends: something else in the future.

It's better polished on account of not being fully open which works better for the tech and GF's competency, interacting with Pokemon is more fun, you get into battles faster and seamless catching saves so much pointless time you'd just be spending lobbing a quick ball at something, honestly if the game had more settlements and more interesting side quest I wouldn't even have bothered with SV. In the end though I threw in the towel after my second gym fight, it felt like too much of a slog.

It's sad how much better PLA is mechanically for an open world. When you encounter a high level pokemon you can still take it on thanks to damage mechanics and turn speed, you can also run from the battle. If it's aggressive towards you, you can even dodge it's attacks and hit it from behind to get it dazed and skip an action.
Meanwhile in SV if you encounter some lvl75 tera, you can't do shit but use a poke doll. It's really awful.

Still more fun than a game that runs at 19 FPS and has about as much consistency and stability as a polyamorous marriage. Sure do love a game where experiences range from no issues whatsoever to crashing every 15 minutes, characters skeletons randomly expanding and clipping through the planet.

Its insane how fluid going in and out of battles is in PLA and how fucking long it takes in SV how they can go so far backwards is really stupid.
The only thing SV did better was being slightly more visually appealing by being more colorful because PLA is really fucking gray.
The world is also designed a little better I found exploring the world in PLA to be a little empty while SV had a little more going for it.

Lmao Unova isn't getting a Legends title. You'll get a shitty chibi remake like BDSP got and all other resources will be funneled into gen 10 given how much of a PR nightmare gen 9 has been. Shit you might not even get the shitty BDSP style ones either, I could see them just dropping past gens on the Nintendo store for download and calling it good.
