>>52551694Yeah, Pokemon scarlet/violet, without voice acting, gives it a feel like the game is still in its beta stage, like its still in development especially when coupled with the bugs and glitches. I remember playing games from the late 90s and early 2000s and those still managed to have some capacity of voice acting, even if it was far more limited compared to sheer volume of today. At least the old red/blue pokemon games had an actual excuse, there wasn't enough space of the cart, so little in fact that in order to fit Mew in, they had to literally get rid of the developer tools as the cart only had 10mb of space. Back when they were actually struggling indie devs who had no aforementioned clout to work off.
