I mean can we appreciate this guy for bringing Pokemon back to its glory.
ORAS -best sold remake directed by Ohmori
SM - best sold 3ds games directed by Ohmori
SwSh- 2nd highest sold games in the franchise directed by Ohmori
SV - 10million sales in 3 days - world record. Directed by Ohmori

Meanwhile if we were stuck with Masuda we would have shit like LGPE and BDSP. That are neither innovative or different.

LGPE is the best looking of these games and masuda purposefully only directed the side games to give ohmori the spotlight. I don't have a problem with ohmori I don't have enough insight into gamefreak to really know which staff are making which artistic desicions I don't like. All I know is Masuda was a viosionary and we will probably never get a game like black and white again

Masuda never tried to revive the formula. Ohmori tries new shit every game.

I still maintain my conspiracy theory that this guy's a genius that's being fucked over by the rest of GF and TPC. His games have been some of the most innovating Pokemon games we've had, starting with SM trying to shake the formula for the first time by removing traditional gyms, and SV took a massive step in a new direction that most agree is a good one and want more of, everyone agrees that despite the technical flaws SV is fun as hell. If Ohmori could be surrounded by people who'd just give him the time and space he and his team need to properly work on a game instead of rushing it I'm sure he'd come out with a legit masterpiece.

You ignore the fact he is also behind the absolute dross that is sword and shield.
Masuda's games were never this unpolished. Hell LgPE is still the best looking pokemon for the switch.

Yeah I no longer like gens 1 and 2 since their remakes are better, what you gonna do about that queerlord?
ORAS sucks though and this is why I'm still fine with gen 3. Played gens 1 and 3 on launch by the way, but I'm still a few months to 30 so I definitely still count as part of that generation.

That's not the point, the point is that he at least tried doing something completely new for the franchise like shaking up the core formula, something no one before had ever tried and if it wasn't for him tweaking stuff we'd still have the exact same copy pasted games.
