>>52561635I can't really deny that either as someone who likes some designs from 5-9 (Vanilluxe, Aegislash, Ribombee, Dragapult, Cetitan to name a few). It feels like they go too far in making them cool or goofy, even the ones I like.
I will say that to me, having most of the 5 mons be remixed versions of Kanto mon showed that they aren't exactly running out off ideas, but moreso executing them sloppily.
