It doesn't matter if people think Gholdengo has a stupid design or looks like the fucking string cheese man. look at it the other way, it's a somewhat humanoid Pokemon that does not resemble any sort of animal. It also has a colorful personality far detached from its popularity in competitive play. It's also a ghost type, making it feel even closer to humans.
if you understand that it's a humanoid mon then you can see how some people would want to fuck it. You can compare it to people that want to fuck Machoke/Machamp or hell even Gardevoir.
and there's probably like 5-6 actual unironic goldfuckers with art from like, 5 Japanese artists
