Face it, dexit was inevitable since gen 3. Ever since gen 5, I was expecting it to eventually happen. There is just too many Pokémon, and even if game freak was confident and not so greedy, managing 1000 Pokémon is impossible. Even a game like radical Reddit can barely fit 900 Pokémon in a region for 151, while making them unique from each other. This was in a gba difficulty hack. The series was definitely not meant to last this long.
