>>52574933>Jugulis' arms are also disconnected,I double checked, and nah, they're connected, just to the blue part of the body rather than leading from the black like on base Hydreigon. It's a design change I don't like and also don't really understand, but it's there
> I'm hopping on Jugulis' dick rn, but it's not because I particularly like it, I just don't see how it and Iron Moth can be literally an entire tier list apart is all.Fair. I probably was too harsh on Jugulis, myself but at the same time analyzing it for the sake of this discussion has largely just taken it from "ew" to "eh".
>If it were up to me, the future forms would be less strictly robots, and more cybernetic.I think a mix of straight robots like Valiant and Bundle (who pull it off the best), speculative evolution-like designs, and cybernetics like you said would've been the best approach-varied in application but still tying into the theme of "what this Pokemon would be like in the future
or, at least, what some obsessed weirdo think they'd look like, if the Imagination Theory is real.
Scarlet got a range from just straight dinosaur-like features being added on with Slither Wing and Brute Bonnet, to things like more barbaric and bestial design cues like Sandy Shocks, Scream Tail, and Roaring Moon, to the addition of feathers on top of the previous two criteria to play into that whole paleontological debate in Flutter Mane and Koraidon. Same concept (by and large), but vastly different executions keep the designs from feeling samey. I don't know why the future paradoxes didn't get the same treatment.
