Smogon used to produce good articles that were very descriptive of game mechanics, so probably something like that

I'm sure you'd be required to memorize the stat formulas similar to how you had to memorize certain formulas in geometry class or whatever

And I'm sure you'd have to memorize spelling/grammar rules just as in real life school, here's an old article on that subject:

I remember when smogon had soul, joke sets for shitmons, articles with custom art for game mechanics or meta trends, fakemons that weren't just minmaxed abominations.

Smogon is proof that everything in the zoomer era has become more tepid and lifeless, not just corporate produced media.
