I can't even recount the number of shinies or trades from friends I've deleted by starting a new save file with nary a thought besides wanting to exploit the Mew glitch one more time, and even that is fleeting because I already have so many that it no longer feels special to own any legendary period. Complaining about dex cuts, glitches, new designs is pointless because every new game will make money whether I invest in it or not.
None of it matters. We all die alone and forgotten anyway.
