Im sure the Hisui stuff will appear via WORMHOLE bullshit eventually, just saying they/their Evo Itemslike how Galar had Wild Fossils in the DLC and a pit full of Legendaries.

I mean, that is how Hisui had the modern shit too after all.

Tediursa was practically one of my favorite Pokemon. I don't think I've ever had one in the games and if I have, it was in a non-Johto game and I bred a traded Ursaring for it either that or it was emerald and its lackluster sprite sort of dampened it for mebut I reaaaally don't think I've ever had one. I think this magnifies its allure for me, but my personal response to Tediursa is all just a preamble for me to say: it's really, really cute and I'm sure it was super well-liked, even if somewhat overshadowed. It was Molly's first real Pokemon, and I think a crystalline version was on her illusory team. Ursaring is also most definitely beloved. Paul had one.

eh they retcon this stuff all the time like how a lot of fossil mons are now just rare spawns in some games plus pokemon has always had a very light touch on its canon with most games feeling more like parallel universes than actual continuations of one another

Nah, it’s pretty obvious they’ll be accessible in one of the DLCs. IIRC everything besides Overqwill has its evolutions properly flagged.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s similar to Crown Tundra - it’s a new area filled with these supposedly extinct ‘Mons. You’ll be able to catch all of the Hisuians, and evolve the cross-gens/regional variants that evolve into another regional variant or evo. Only thing I’m eh on is non-regionals that evolve into regionals. If GameFreak wasn’t stupid they’d make it location based and they evolve into their Hisuians in that location, but this is GameFreak.

Considering the current games are about Past/Future time travel screwery and there's a pit in the middle of region with monstrous Pokemon from the Past/Future, I'm sure they'd probably throw the Hisuian's in there just fine.
