Gen6 is the most forgotten and overlooked gen. Is it the last of the classic games or the beginning of the end for the franchise? Is it too late to buy the games?

Gen 6 apologism is just getting off the ground. You can be a cool proto-bort for about a year. By 2024 it'll hit peak childhood nostalgia and be "the best games in the series".

This didn't happen. Gen 6 always felt like a prototype. The tiny dex, reactionary Kanto-pandering and blatantly unfinished back half of the game were knocks against it.
