>>52605937Funny thing is that the female characters have always looked the same on FE. There's 2 or 3 exceptions (like the fat girl on radiant dawn or the other fat lady on fates), but those characters are usually shit.
There's normaly more varied characters on the male side, and even then it's always a minority. That doesn't bother me though, I'm used to liking only one or two characters per series, but FE engage is showing a concerning amount of samefaces everywhere.
I'm guessing there will be non pretty boys husbandos, but like almost always, they would be shit units (that also doesn't bother me, I will use a unit I like even if it is the worst on the game).
I remember fates and three houses having a lot of interesting looking villians, but that, unplayable villians.
In games like pokemon I'm fine with unplayable characters, because literally everyone but the protag are unplayable, they are still given good characterization and stuff. The important battle element are the pokemon.
But on a game like FE, where the value of the characters is tied to their battle performance, unplayable characters are really overlooked.
But well, al least I can be happy with all the husbandos SV have.
