Classes are fun and you legitimately learn things in them. The math teacher knowing about the Stone Edge VS Rock Slide debate was kino and the buff guy taught me a bunch of shit that has to do with the sandwich bonuses.

The only classes that really didn’t matter was language because 90% of people on this board don’t use the Amie features

The classes were good because they go over certain technical aspects of the series that have never been properly explained/introduced to the player before ever. It was very satisfying to see all this stuff finally addressed.

Some of the classes are kind of cool, like history class, and sometimes you actually learn stuff about the mechanics. I also like the quizzes, even if some are pretty silly like Salvatore's. Wish you got better rewards than EXP candy, though.

They’re literally optional, are you brain dead? Also, I’ve been wanting them to expand on the trainers school concept like this for generations, I’ve always felt like it would be the perfect excuse to finally actually teach the player mechanics, and they did just that + more by tying story, character, and lore shit into it as well. Not to mention theres actual rewards too.

I thought they were fun when I did them as they came and mixed it up with some exploring and stuff. Probably won’t do them on most replays though.

You get candies for finishing the tests and unlock sidequests for each of the teachers that gives a unique reward when you finish them, e.g. Salvatore gives you a Galarian Meowth

I unironically loved the classes. They even taught me a few things I didn't know before.

The main issue with the classes is the long load times getting into them. It got really annoying really quick going in and out of them. And holy shit, the Mesagoza theme song is fucking annoying as shit. I had to mute the game after running through classes for a few minutes.
