Assuming the time machine actually did work, and the AI professor didn't immediately shut down from being outside the lab, both of them could potentially return to the present to reunite with Arven. Turo could wait until the technology for a time machine was available (assuming he didn't jump forward far enough that it already was), while Sada could simply wait however many years to reach the modern day again.
