I agree. And the voices used in these kind of videos always suck. Super hammy and with poor direction. Humans don’t talk like that. The craziest part is that dub voice acting wasn’t always this bad.

Not that anon, but in most video games, I'm reading the dialogue, whereas in movies you have no choice but to wait for the actors to speak. When I played Persona 5, I finished reading most sentences while the voice actor wasn't even halfway through.

I remember watching the Pokemon Generations with best boy N and nearly throwing up when I heard his English voice. It's not even that the voice itself was bad, but that it was all over the place in his tone. The internal voice I had for him far surpassed I, but I guess a lot more people nowadays lack that ability to generate voices in their minds and just go braindead when they see text without a tiktok narrator reading it for them
