And it definitely does look like a clown
My first thought when it evolved was "ew it's a clown"
And the singing theme came out of nowhere

If they removed the markings from the face, kept the bird on the head, and knew how to animate fire better it could work

the concepts for the starters were great this gen. But the actual design execution was pretty bad, especially for the water one. This was the only one that didn't look like shit and it still looks bad
