>>52603411I don't HATE hate SV, but I can't lie and tell you that if I play PLA for 10 minutes and then go back to SV it doesn't feel like I booted up a busted and glitchy fan-game.
There are a lot of things I liked about SV, 90% of them are in the last stretch in Area Zero.
Aside from Area Zero stuff, the story was a complete wash. And Area Zero itself is just a teaser for the story coming in the DLCs, so there's not much of the good part either.
The new pokemon all look bad and don't feel like pokemon. All of them.
The open world is barely ok, and that's way below the bar that PLA set.
Outbreaks and Sandwiches have completely killed shinies, they got devalued before, but this was the final deathblow. It's officially not even barely cool or remarkable anymore. It might as well be something you can turn on with an item, like a shiny mint.
Battles go a bit faster, but there's still a lot of wasted time.
Hail 'buff' did nothing.
Every new mon in competitive has retarded stats or a stupid signature move like Make It Rain.
Tera is a complete wild card (and looks stupid), good fucking luck playing around any mon being able to switch weaknesses at any point in any fight.
Ugly , and I mean FUCKING UGLY trainer designs. I can't even believe how fucking bad some of them look.
Scaled back on trainer customization + ugly androgynous trainer models. SwSh and SV tabula rasa trainers will never get the recognition of any of the trainers from other gens.
Brought nothing new to the table, excluding Tera.
In short, it's PLA's retarded cousin.
