What's your opinion on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

They would be the best for me if:
>we got to decorate our dorm room
>we had more customization choices and we could change out of our uniform
>the gym leaders had social links like the teachers
>some npcs in each town had mini quests to do

I've never cared about competitive or raids.. I just want a comfy adventure with my pokemon.

Does the game give that feel? I really just want to go on a wide open adventure. I’m still debating buying the game

Solid 6/10 imo
>Very boring soundtrack compared to LA and SWSH

Pros:

>bigger roster of new Pokemon
>Able to re-challenge gyms post game and other things to do like collecting the ominous stakes.
>Ability to go whatever route you want

NTA and can't speak for everyone but that's definitely how it's been for me, I'm like 10 hours in and only just finished exploring the area with the first gym. The bugs and performance kinda get annoying sometimes but I've been able to largely ignore them.

They didn’t cause they were forced to get the game out for the holiday deadline. I guarantee if this game had even just another year of dev time it’d be way better

It's hard to compare to older games with the changes in gameplay, but definitely a fun experience, and hopefully a sign of more progress in the future.

It does pretty well with the wide, and decent with being open. The southern part of the map initially can feel small, but past the first towns everything is huge and fun to explore, especially as you get more -raidon abilities to get around. Seeing the map from up on the mountain or the crater's edge makes it feel huge because you can see the distance between towns and all of the different areas between them.
