Whenever a particular Generation of Pokemon is criticised, I have noticed that a fan of said Generation gets tilted and starts referring to one of the picrel Pokemon.
The thing is, this is only 11 out of 151. That means that 140 of the Gen 1 Pokemon are still good. That's about 93% of the dex. Therefore, still the most consistently good designs of any gen.
So can we finally stop pretending that the existence of Voltorb and Seel means that the other Gens can't be criticized? If your favourite Gen gets criticized, you can't just start yelling VOLTORB and think that it's a valid argument.
