It makes me so sad that every other Nintendo franchise is a beacon of quality and soul that makes fans of other studios cope and seethe.

Meanwhile Pokemon has been declining in quality since Gen 4.

Do you think Nintendo has been having some talks with GF after the mess that was SV? I'm sure they don't want their brand and reputation to be tarnished by Pokémon's low quality releases anymore. Could Gen 10 finally be good?

I know /vp/ didnt watch it, but during the video game awards whenever Nintendo had their hype packages they showed bunch of scarlet/violet footage. That to me speaks about them still valuing pokemon.

don't forget they have even less interesting things to do in the world than Arceus or Scarlet/Violet. X at least had fun movement and traversal, 1/2/3 are walking molasses pace through big open areas.

To be fair, Pokemon doesn't show up in shit like Nintendo Picross or whatever either. I think the last non-Smash Nintendo game to have a Pokemon crossover was Super Mario Maker. The Wii U one. Probably because it was an Amiibo thing AND Nintendo begged TPC for the anniversary. Like, I don't think the yarn Yoshi game that also came out on Wii U had any Pokemon related Amiibo costumes.
