For all the pictures featuring Akari and Hisuian Zorua or Zoroark, I've not seen much writing "about" her with them. Ao3 seems to have latched onto the opportunity for gore, shoving Emmet into things, and torturing Ingo with not actually shoving Emmet into things.

About the only ones that I've located are a microfic "Little Changeling" and the significantly-longer "Into the Wilds", where Akari pops in as a baby and ends up raised by an Alpha Hisuian Zoroark/Lucario couple.

...This spontaneous business-Zoroark chatting has me thinking of Akari deciding to try dragging together Pokemon into a functional society, accidentally resulting in the Anime's Lucario Kingdom going from "kingdom WITH Lucario using them as an ethical backstop" to "kingdom OF Lucario who have to deal with Zoroark business-mon shenanigans".

With the associated result that Arceus doesn't actually HAVE a home to send Akari back to because she accidentally butterflied her own existence away due to her previous Destiny latching onto a Riolu utterly swamped by Zorua cousins.

The canon case of a Zoroark bluntly warning the player character, IIRC with a dialogue prompt directly responded to, is why I take this to the point of "Zoroark aren't rarer than some Legendaries, they're harder to FIND because most of them are human-shaped people on the street".
