Not a compfag but even in-game I was disappointed to realize it wasn't much of an upgrade from the Gallade I had been using, it's trying to do too much and doesn't have enough to work with.
Mega Mawile and Zacian being absolutely retarded because of their insane stats and typing made people overlook that physical Fairy still has basically no support ten years after XY came out.

Paradoxes aren't even eligible in the current VGC format.
The only meta Iron Valiant is allowed in right now is Smogon, and it's arguably the 2nd best Paradox in OU right now.

Honestly Iron Valiant would be pretty busted if those Special Attack Base stats were as low as Roaring Moon's and redistributed to the other stats. An Extra 65 distributed between, say, its defense/HP and speed/attack would be kind of nutty.

GO exclusive transfer, they're just an alternate form so you don't need them for dex completion, and they're just a regular weak baby pokemon so they're not needed for competitive. Best way to handle it really.

That said, SWSH's DLC mons and mons that debuted in Legends Arceus are all immediately transferrable once HOME updates and will likely be made legal for competitive play quickly, so those guys are pay 2 win stuff even if the GO exclusive Gimmighoul isn't.
